Slaidburn provides an excellent start and finish point for many cycle rides and trails in the beautiful Hodder Valley. It is a well known as a stop-off point on the Lands End - John O'Groats Run. Another long distance cycle route which passes through the village is the Regional Route 90 - Lancashire Cycleway. Situated next to the car-park on the village green, the Riverbank Tearooms provides hot meals, snacks, sandwiches, drinks etc. If your cycle ride means you are going to arrive in the village after our usual closing time of 5pm please let us know and we can make arrangements to stay open for your party.
